Dust breathed into life.
The first to breathe, to speak.
The first to see the Light.
The first to walk, to seek.
Though God formed Man first,
Man chose not to boast.
For though he was made strong,
For help and love he longed.
So God took down one guard
To fill the void in man’s heart;
A small trade for help and love.
Her name was Woman, Man’s dove.
The two became one flesh;
Their lives entwined for life.
Their lives were truly blessed,
But then came lust and pride.
The tree of Good and Evil;
Knowledge saddened all people.
Perfection and life were traded in
For death and a beggar’s crown.
Shame became Man’s clothing,
But that is why Jesus came calling:
A sacrifice was needed to clothe Man’s shame.
By sin came death; by Christ, grace.
Punishment for Man was a hard life,
With rewards oftentimes unseen.
He had to break hard soil to provide
For Woman, children, and dreams.
But sin’s punishment has taken a turn;
Truth is forsaken and allowed to burn.
God’s light is traded in for darkness,
With boys and girls left brokenhearted.
They choose to forsake their Creator.
They choose to abuse and kill their Savior.
They think they can hide their sin,
But they do not realize who Jesus IS.
Jesus is the fulfilled promise to man;
Taking the punishment for lust and pride.
His life and death were part of God’s plan
To bring man from darkness back to marvelous light.
A boy chooses to live in sin;
A Man, chooses to die and rise again.
Every day, he walks and talks with Elohim;
Choosing obedience and humility, like his King.
He leads a Woman away from forbidden fruit
And shows her that love is eternally true.
Though life is hard, like it has always been,
A Man trusts God’s faithful providence.
A boy chooses to spit on his Creator,
A man chooses to live for his Savior.
Chivalry isn’t dead, it rose again;
The precious blood gives life to Man.
If there were more Men (and Women) for God,
Then more would find their home above.
The world would see the intent of existence;
To serve and to die, so that love might live;
To sing and to bow before the Creator God;
To be an example of Christ in life, in love.
Time is fading fast and love will be lost,
So, fight the good fight, men and women of the cross.
What is Man that You are mindful of him
And the son of Man that You would care?1
While he was still a sinner, You died for him;
In that, you show Your love2 and secure Your heir.
If tears start to fill my eyes, I apologize.
It is just that I have seen what it means to love,
And settling for anything less is a lie,
Especially when my eternity waits above.
What God has done for man is so insane,
Because we are the ones who tore Him open.
Or was it that He put aside His divine name,
So that hearts would repent; blessedly broken?
I know the truth lies in the latter question,
Because Jesus had all the power to save Himself.
But He saw His sheep were drowning,
And only the Good Shepherd could bring them out.
I wrote this to show God’s plan:
His plan for marriage, His plan for man.
Denying divine direction is dangerous,
Especially when children are dragged in,
The verse goes; a millstone tied to the neck
And being cast into the sea,
Is better for the foolish man
That leads astray a son or daughter of the King.3
Yes, every human life is born in sin,
But Christ came to set us free from this.
He bought His creation with His blood,
But it is our choice: Hatred or love?
Will even the Body forsake natural affection?
Let it not be so said of God’s children.
But let us stand strong, knowing our calling,
Forsaking all, though the heavens be falling.
Love comes from tears of sweat and blood,
And it flows like living waters through all of us.
But will we be broken by the flood or crushed?4
As for me, I choose to follow Yeshua,
The One Who defines true love.
I will stand for Him, no matter the cost:
Being alone, in chains, or told to shut up.
Love is more than what five can tell,5
And their words will be swallowed by hell.
But the Word of God stands, having this seal,
The Lord knows those who are His,
So let those who call on His name depart from iniquity.6
